Lifeskills Plus Inc. is an incorporated association and operates under Lifeskills Plus Inc. Constitution

Mission Statement:

With respect, equality and freedom of choice as core values, Lifeskills Plus Inc. provides opportunities for individuals to achieve their goals.

Objects of the Association

are to:

  • Provide support and training to people with disabilities that will enhance their skills, self- esteem and independence;
  • Provide opportunities for people with disabilities to interact in their community as valued members;
  • Provide support to families of people with disabilities through information and respite care.
  • Deliver our services in accordance with the NSW Disability Service Standards.
  • Promote our services in the community and to receive and/or raise funds for the benefit of our clients.
  • Do all such other acts or things as may contribute to the attainment of the above objects.

 

Our Board is responsible for the direction and governance of the organisation. Board members meet monthly.

Members of the Board are elected at the AGM by and from Association Members and have a variety of skills and experience which they all freely contribute to Lifeskills Plus Inc.

Our Board of Directors

 

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the management of Lifeskills Plus.

Our CEO

Strategic Planning with Board members, staff, clients, their families and stakeholders in the community establishes direction and results to be achieved by Lifeskills Plus.

Clients, their families and people from the community are welcome to apply to become Members of the Association. Acceptance of membership by the Board entitles members to vote at the annual general meetings and have input into the Board of Directors. Membership fee is $1 a year.
