News from Lifeskills

Lifeskills Plus' move from 24 Perry Street to Oporto Road has started. We will be moving HEAPS of “stuff” from Perry Street to Oporto Road today 29-5-2015. Then we will get all that furniture and other materials sorted early next week, properly store and unpack things so that our clients can start having their services at the new Centre a.s.a.p.

This early, unforseen move has regrettably thrown a spanner in the tidy schedule and budget that our Board of Directors and management had prepared for the completion of our Community Centre. Luckily Lifeskills Plus has been offered so much goodwill from businesses and volunteers to help with this situation. SO MANY people have gone beyond the call of duty to help us prepare part of the Community Centre so we can continue our work for our clients. We need to thank them for moving mountains for Lifeskills and the people with disabilities that they support
